Gold Mining Operation (Atlin B.C Canada)

After several years of mining, it is time to retire and live a little. So having said that I am selling out my mining operation.

This is a fairly large turnkey mining operation that is comprised of two (2) different properties along with a full line of equipment. All the equipment including the wash plant is in “above average” condition and is work ready.

The Mining Properties

The mining properties are comprised of both mining claims and placer leases. There is 37 hectares (91 acres) on Apple Creek. There is a legacy placer lease located on the upper end of Little Spruce Creek (SOLD). There is also a five (5) cell grouping of placer claims on Bonanza Creek which covers an area of 82 hectares (202 acres). Between both parcels there is total an area of 119 hectares or 293 acres. There is good access to all the claims and the furthest claims would be about a 30 – 40 minute drive from the town of Atlin.

At present all the equipment is located on the Apple Creek claims where mining has taken place over the past few years. Settling ponds are in place, haul roads are in as well as 4-5 foot deep rock drains coming out from the cut. Water for sluicing is managed from an upsteam reservoir.

The equipment
All the equipment is in good working condition. The WA600 Komatsu loader has new steering pins and bushings and all the rams have been rebuilt. Both loaders are very tight. The D8K dozer has had both the lift and tilt rams all rebuilt also.

The New Holland excavator runs like a top. This is a 75,000 lb machine and digs great. Very strong clean running Cummins 250 HP engine. Has quick attach with a 1 3/4 yard tooth bucket.

The rock truck is a 1998 Bell, 30 yard wiggle wagon. Powered by a V8 Mercedes diesel and has an 5 speed automatic with 3 reverse. Air over hydraulic brakes. All new plating on the inside of the box. Nice size truck for small confined areas. Runs great.

The wash plant generator is brand new. It’s a 4 cyclinder Perkins with a 60 KW genset and powers the submersible 6 inch pump, the screen deck, the conveyor and the hopper feeder. The hopper grizzly is remote control and is operated from the cab of the loader. Screen size is 2 inch and under. There are 3 sets of 4X3 hydraulic riffles on the sluice run. Deck is spring mounted and runs extremely smooth. The sluice run is split into two sections and has hydraulic pins that will retract and two hydraulic arms then tip the top section so the concentrates fall into a tray below. Concentrates are then scooped up and carried away making clean ups a breeze.
